Who We Are

Founded in 2017 by Matt Robertello and Mark Nicoletta Jr., Upstate Thread was born out of a passion for quality and community. Both Matt and Mark, lifelong residents of Utica, NY, are professional firefighters who wanted to serve their community in another meaningful way. Together, they launched Upstate Thread with the goal of creating top-notch, custom apparel and distinctive logo designs for businesses in the area.

Over the years, Upstate Thread has become a trusted partner for numerous local companies, providing not only high-quality apparel but also helping them build their brand identities through unique and professional logo designs.
